You’ve got to love those Texans.

The petition to let Texas secede from the U.S. to be reviewed by the White House
Monday, November 12, 2012

Well, Texas, you have done it.

As of 3:40 p.m. ET, more than 25,000 Texans have already signed the petition on The White House website to let Texas peacefully secede from United States of America and “create its own NEW government.”

The petition, created on Nov. 9, argues for secession, stating:

According to The White House, the petition must reach 25,000 signatures within 30 days in order to be considered.

“If a petition gets enough support, White House staff will review it, ensure it’s sent to the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response,” explains the website.

If you would like to know about the process of creating petitions on ‘We the People: your voice in our government‘ section of the White House website, watch the video below:

We understand this will not go much further but who knows.

So the government gives you 30 days to get 25,000 and Texans get it done in three days? What state will go next?

Sounds like Texas has become the new AMERICA. This rest of the county is filling up with a bunch of “give-mes” who want someone to take care of them.

Allegedly, If Texas could then Texas should secede. Go with blessings. 3 x Texas presidents, 3 x wars. the last came in with 5 trillion dollar surplus from clinton and ‘give it the american people’ speech ending in record money given to oil and leaving bankrupt debt of 10 trillion dollars – trying to kill social security and medicare, and hurt to the max the american people? is this giving it to the people? go, please, secede, we can’t afford anymore politicians or anything else from texas. maybe the mexican cartels will threaten and corrupt the next breed of texas candidates. so go.

Good for you Texas, I hope Ohio does the same. I am not happy with Obama. I did not vote for him either time. And I don’t like what he is doing to my country.

America , love it or leave it! HUH it sounds more like America left all of us! Obama is the tip of the iceberg and I hope that all of the red states leave the Union, form a more perfect government, and then the rest of the states each decide to leave D.C all by its self and join Free America in reviving our “great Experiment” in freedom.
