Buffett: ‘No Question’ Global Economy Is Slowing
By Alex Crippen | CNBC

Warren Buffett tells CNBC there’s “no question” the global economy is “slowing” but the U.S. is “inching ahead” and doing better than Europe.

He also sees a “turn” for residential housing in the U.S. and as it improves, Berkshire Hathaway‘s housing-related companies will benefit.

Some of those Berkshire subsidiaries are already seeing double-digit increases in their businesses.
Buffett also tells Squawk Box’s Becky Quick that he feels “fine” and “great” after concluding a series of radiation treatments this summer for prostate cancer.

Buffett revealed that he’s bought some more share of Wells Fargo (WFC) in the past week, taking advantage of its price decline. Over the past month, the bank’s stock is down just over three percent.

One Response to “What? U.S. Economy Slowing”

  1. GF Bird Says:

No doubt about it – due to Republican congressional obstructionism, Republican political machine bad-mouthing talking down the economy to sabotage President Obama, and Republican corporate leaders sitting on capital instead of investing it in economic growth in hopes President Obama will be defeated and Republicans will give them an economic and regulatory environment that will allow them to acquire even more disproportionate wealth, they have caused our economy to suffer mightily. But not nearly as bad as at the end of the last Republican presidency of purposeful mismanagement.

These Republican saboteurs serving stateless corporations are right out of the corporatist playbook of fascism – therefore, they are traitors to all that the United States of America has always stood for and built over 220 + years.

Voting for President Obama and each Congressional, Legislative, and Senate Democratic Party candidate are ultimate acts of patriotism that will bolster our economy and get our economy back on track to sustainable growth.
