What Does Fair Share Mean, Mr President

A lot of people are call it a slip by the president when he mention fair share at the end of the debate Wednesday night. What did he mean? Boone Pickens is not sure but know what should be done.

Billionaire business magnate T. Boone Pickens said Wednesday that he has no idea what President Barack Obama is talking about when he speaks of the need for the wealthy to pay their “fair share” of taxes.

“The president is confusing me. Every time he’s on TV, he says that the rich should pay their fair share. … Well, I don’t know what fair share is. That’s what’s bothering me. I always want to be fair,” said Pickens on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “Some place in here, I feel like I’m letting my country down. I need to know what they want.”

“Today, you have an unbelievable opportunity to make this country energy independent, Pickens said. “There’s only one missing link now: leadership … because the leadership in Washington doesn’t even understand the resources that you have available in America.”
