Three keys for Tigers
1) Joaquin Benoit and Jose Valverde

They were both terrific in the division series last year against the Yankees. They have both struggled the last few weeks. The Orioles ultimately lost their series to the Yankees because their closer, Jim Johnson, twice got scored on in the ninth inning. Unlike against Oakland — when Benoit and Valverde each let a lead get away — the Tigers might not win this series if either one of them lets the Yankees catch up late.
