GLADSTONE — Gladstone Public Safety officers are looking for more information about a hit and run accident Sunday night.

Around 5:40 p.m. officers responded to the South 9th street alley between Delta Avenue and Minnesota Avenue behind Main Street Pizza.

A 78-year-old Gladstone woman was traveling south on 9th Street when a tan or pewter colored 4-door Chevy Blazer, traveling eastbound in the alley between Delta and Minnesota Avenues crashed into her right front side.

After impact, the driver of the Blazer backed up and continued eastbound in the alley toward South 8th Street. The driver never stopped to identify himself or render any aid.
