GREEN BAY – For the first time, UW-Green Bay welcomed a current or former President to its campus on Friday night.

Former President Bill Clinton spoke to about 2,200 potential voters in the old Phoenix Sports Center inside the Kress Events Center.

“I know you don’t care but I was pretty impressed with the Packers Sunday,” said Clinton. “I should have been campaigning but I was home watching every play.”

“I thought he was great,” said Teal Kaenel, a UW-Green Bay student. “I’m very happy with what he has done for our country and I think he’s doing a great job of supporting Obama.”

What, only 2,200 people attended? You would think Bill could bring in 10,000.

Let’s see, Teal was probably born between 1991 and 1994, just when Clinton took office. What does Teal know of what Bill Clinton did?  Is Teal talking about Monica?

We know that both male and female democrats in northeastern Wisconsin were swooning at just the mention of Bill Clinton name. Were there any reports of people passing out?
