We give special thanks to Steve Sabol who passed away today at 69 , his father and all at the NFL Network. Our first memories of them was back in the 1970′s at Ashwaubenon Wis. High School. The teachers went on a one week strike and most of our days that week was in the auditorium watching NFL films of the Green Bay Packers. We are not sure how the schools got the films but it will live in our memories for ever.

If you are a true NFL fan you will never forget what Steve Sabol and his dad did for the NFL and all it’s fans. We found this You Tube of some more interesting facts about the early days at the NFL films.

NFL Films – John Facenda

From NFL Films “Lost Treasures” series comes this piece on one of the most distinctive voices of my lifetime — John Facenda. As a voiceover talent myself, I always admired John Facenda’s work, and consider him one of the greatest voices of all time. (I make no claims to the copyright of this film. It is owned by NFL Films. I only put it up here as a tribute to John Facenda.)
