We find numerous reports of our commander and chief’s visit to Milwaukee.  We read 18,000 plus, nearly 20,000 brave rain, 5000 people and thousands more. Was there really that many people who came out to see the president. Here are some stories about his visit.

Mark Leland, FOX 11 News
MILWAUKEE – President Barack Obama made a stop in Wisconsin for only the second time this year.

This trip was all about fundraising and touching base with voters to try and maintain, or even boost, his slim lead over rival Mitt Romney.

And the President made it clear he was on the side of the Middle Class.

“Top down economic never works,” President Obama faulted Romney’s economic plan as he spoke before a supportive crowd at a fundraising event at the Milwaukee Theatre.

Supporters paid anywhere from $250 to $25,000 a ticket for the private events planned in the afternoon.

Then the President continued his attack on the GOP ticket in front of an estimated 18,000 people at the Summerfest grounds along the lakeshore.

Nearly 20,000 brave rain to see Obama in Milwaukee

From Wisconsin State Journal.

Obama fires up supporters, raises money here

Obama energized his supporters who filled the 5,000-seat BMO Harris Pavilion, along with thousands more who sat in bleachers and stood on the pavement beyond the protection of the roof, even as wind and rain lashed down in the latter moments of the near 30-minute speech.

Read more at JSOnline.

From the JSOnline report, 13,000 plus people stood outside in the rain while only 5,000 were able to be inside to listen to the president. Who is trying to fool who here?

Who counted these people? You mean to tell us they nearly filled up half of Miller Park? If you watch the video at Fox 11 or look through the JSOnline picture gallery, you see no images of the giant 18,000 plus estimated crowd. If it was so great, wouldn’t someone show the massive crowd? If someone has an image of the 18,000 plus crowd, let us know where to find it. We would like to see it.

This is how the media is trying to pump up Obama but it’s not working. The media counts crowds like the government counts jobs added to the economy. They have been exaggerated to help give support to President Obama and also to give republicans a reason not to vote. The giant crowds mean the election is over and Barack has won. Stay home this November.

People see through all this.  Again, if anyone has proof of the 18,000 plus crowd, please send us the information.

Update: Before you need to post a comment how I am wrong on this issue, please read updated linked story.

Jack, thanks for your comment. My proof is what I seen from the MSM reports. I was going off the coverage I seen that they gave. Even JSOnline didn’t give those large numbers. If it was a big deal to the people covering the event, there should of been images of the crowds. From Rob showing a few picks it looked pretty large, but I still question the 18 – 20 thousand.

      Please remember, no profanity.

      Take Care
You have a GREAT day and week.

I was physically there. Was a massive turnout. The place was jammed, shoulder to shoulder, past the 5,000 that could be comfortably under the pavillion, past the thousands in the bleachers, and finally spilling into the thousands in the park. There is no way for me to know a head count 100%, but it was a minimum of double the capacity of the pavillion. Possibly triple.

First off, and here is why I consider your “reporting” one-sided and frankly goofy. The President of the United States is the “Commander In Chief” not the “Commander and chief” as you call him. Call we a Grammar Nazi (I would prefer that you not, however), but when you say that “My proof is what I seen from the MSM reports,” please know that journalists use proper English (my major in college years ago) and thus should read “what I saw.” Perhaps people would respect your attempt at journalism with a bit of adjustment on your reporting and, it would appear, from your demeanor as your statements above fairly drip sarcasm, as I doubt you wish anyone a great week after they take you to task. Kind of like us Southern folks saying “bless his heart,” which is not at all what we really and truly mean.

Bless your heart and have a GREAT week.

Max, thank you for stopping over.

We appreciate you critiquing my grammar. You said, “Call we a Grammar Nazi”, Is “we” correct or should it be “me”?

If you do not agree with my comments, just tell me we are “one-sided and frankly goofy”. Please bypass the grammar lesson.

The reports of the number of people attending the Obama rally in Milwaukee came from his campaign people. The number was exaggerated. I was right.

        Bless his heart.

I do hope you do have a GREAT Day and Week. I may be off with some grammar but when I say that to you, I sincerely mean it.

Take care. Keep up your good work.
