MSU coach Mark Dantonio says he ‘got impatient’ in loss to Notre Dame

East Lansing — After Michigan State lost to Notre Dame on Saturday night, coach Mark Dantonio talked about making “tough decisions” when it came to personnel.On Tuesday, he said that will be an ongoing process throughout the week, but he also wasn’t about to heap all the blame of the 20-3 loss on his players.
Specifically, he believes he focused too much on trying to swing the momentum in the game.
“I think I got impatient in the second half, a little bit,” Dantonio said at his weekly news conference Tuesday.
Michigan State only ran the ball six times in the second half against Notre Dame and after a third-quarter drive in the no-huddle produced positive results, Dantonio believes he should have adjusted.
