Resident chases off masked intruder with multiple gunshots, police say

A woman fired several shots at a masked intruder who attempted to use a form of pepper spray on her when she confronted him in her town of Blooming Grove home early Saturday morning, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The intruder fled the scene when fired upon and it’s unknown if he sustained any injuries, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
