More expansion in the Bellevue area of Green Bay.

Costco Opening Store in the Green Bay Area in 2013, Village Official Says

Costco is opening a store in the Green Bay area next year.

That’s according to Bellevue Village Administrator Andrew Vissers, who tells Action 2 News Costco submitted the necessary zoning requests on Tuesday and the plan is to have Costco open in November, 2013.

Vissers says Bellevue and Costco representatives have been working on a plan to open a store in the area of Highway 172 and County Highway GV for about a year, and worked out the sale of land and other details.

We wonder if Green Bay mayor Jim Schmitt is disappointed that Green Bay lost more tax income? That’s right, the only thing he worries about is he wants is his own zip code.
