Who Won the $300 Million Powerball?
There are as many ideas in how to spend $300 million as there are dollars in this Wednesday’s jackpot. Unfortunately, the winner of this week’s Powerball wasn’t from Brookfield.

Looks like we’re all going to have to go back to work today as the winning $337 million Powerball ticket was purchased in Lapeer, MI, about 45 miles south of Detroit.
When a reporter with seattlepi.com called the gas station about the ticket, the person who answered the phone was too busy, he said, to talk. The gas station will get a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket there.
