Burleson out to prove he’s still got it
When a player gets to the age of 31, like receiver Nate Burleson will turn Sunday, they’re supposed to slow down a little bit in practice and maybe take a day off here and
there. You know, start to get the veteran treatment a little bit. But Burleson wants no part of that. According to him, he can’t afford it.
“When you are old you can’t afford to (miss any reps),” Burleson said. “I look at practice like hitting the weight room. If I miss a day I’m going to get weaker.”
