DOOR COUNTY – Gov. Scott Walker has requested federal disaster declarations for farmers dealing with crop losses because of weather.
Walker made two requests – one for the entire state for anticipated fruit tree losses, and one for 14 counties for maple syrup losses. The second request includes five counties in Northeast Wisconsin: Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Marinette and Shawano.
