Capitol Policechief selected

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — State Department of Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch (HIP’-sch) has selected a Wisconsin State Patrol veteran to serve as the Capitol Police’s next chief.
David Erwin has spent 16 years with the State Patrol, serving as captain of the Dignitary Protection Unit and commander of the State Patrol Air Support Unit. He also spent 11 years with the U.S. Marines and is a licensed pilot.
