Ag Expo, Michigan’s largest outdoor farm show, returns to the Michigan State University campus July 17-19 for the 33rd time, bringing a variety of educational and commercial activities and exhibits to the state’s agricultural community as well as to homeowners, families and anyone who wants to know more about the state’s second-largest industry.

Across the expo grounds, more than 200 exhibitors will feature products and services that help Michigan agricultural producers continue to succeed.

Demonstrations on tillage, mortality composting and biodiesel processing will be available. Visitors can test-drive payloaders, telehandlers, skid steers and large-frame tractors. Stock dog training demonstrations are back this year and MI-Alpaca will be on hand to demonstrate the spinning and skirting of alpaca fleece.

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources tent, which has been a mainstay at Ag Expo for the past nine years, will feature expanded educational sessions and activities including a self-guided tour featuring a firsthand look at food production.

Once again, the MSU Dairy Store will offer free ice cream, including popular flavors such as “Sesquicentennial Swirl.” Visitors are asked to make a donation, with all proceeds in support of the CANR Alumni Scholarship Fund.
