GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Game day at Lambeau Field is being taken to new heights. The second phase of the renovation project is now complete.
To mark the milestone, Packer’s employees and local politicians signed a metal beam, which will stay on display in the south end zone concourse.
“All and all, it’s going to really present an enhanced game day experience for our fans,” Packers President Mark Murphy said.
Murphy led a special ceremony inside the bowl Monday, right in the shadows of Lambeau’s newest features. The two HD video boards are four times the size of the previous boards. The structures of what will soon be 6,700 hundred new seats are also complete. Murphy said the seats will all have backs and some will even be covered.
