Cecil and Prince Fielder are putting that whole “time heals all wounds” mantra to the test.
Last week, Cecil, the former Tigers slugger, had nothing but glowing things to say about his son, Prince, after he signed a nine-year, $214 million contract with the Tigers.
On Friday night, however, the tune had changed.
Speaking to reporters in St. Petersburg, Fla. — where he was inducted into the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame — Cecil said he’s disappointed in the man his son has become.
And he has no plans to attend Tigers games.
